Reflections: Exploration of Japanese Shibori
Kathy Goddu is a fiber artist focused on various Japanese dye and stitch techniques. Shibori is an ancient Japanese dye resist process with indigo dye, and sashiko is an ancient Japanese stitch work – white thread on indigo fabric. Kathy makes silk scarves, wall hangings, clothing pieces, and wall quilts. She has a studio in Bowdoinham.

 

Art Exhibit: October 3rd – 29th, 2016 (there will be wall art as well as fabrics for sale)
Opening Reception: Friday, October 7th, 2016 from 5:30-8:00PM
