2015 JASM Otsukimi by Dave Clough

2017 JASM Annual Meeting & Otsukimi Moon Viewing

Otsukimi, literally moon-viewing, refers to the Japanese tradition of holding parties to honor the autumn moon. With this in mind the Japan America Society of Maine invites you to join JASM for moon viewing as part of the JASM Annual Meeting on Saturday evening October 7.

The moon viewing will be held at an oceanfront Bailey Island family cottage. There is a deck facing out over the crashing surf for wonderful moon viewing. JASM members and friends (if you are on our mailing list) will receive an email with the private address and event time. If you’re not on our mailing list and would like to join, please sign up.

JASM will provide hot and cool beverages. Attendees are encouraged to bring a food/potluck item to share with other guests.

The event is free to JASM members.

More details will be announced soon.
